Support Your Community Responders

We’re here to help the Tomales community through emergencies of all kinds — wild fires, wind storms, earthquakes, floods, planned power outages, and now, pandemics, too.

We do it because we’re passionate about protecting our village, its environs, and the creatures who live here with us. But we can’t do it without you.

We got our start with a small grant from the County of Marin in 2016. But it was the Tubbs Fire in the fall of 2017 that lit a fire under us, not quite literally but nearly so!

In the years since, we’ve been building capacity in our radio network, communications, evacuation preparations, first aid trailer, search and rescue and incident command protocol, and in our relationships with the wider area response network. Meanwhile, we’ve gratefully received a few spontaneous donations that have kept us operational.

But emergencies keep coming and show no signs of letting up.
